Artist's book featuring photographs of three "punks" played against their alter-egos as civil servant, stockbroker, and manageress. Texts and images run against each other page to page - such as: "The other me is there all the time, and if I were to deny it I'd be lying, but the real me has to be suppressed because of the conformity." / "There's the me that works in the City and then there's the me that goes out Saturday night or, as soon as I get home from the office, takes off his suit and becomes the real me." I'll bet they all have kids and live in the 'burbs now.
