The exhibition was conceived by Hans Hollein. Other contributors include Ettore Sottsass, Arata Isozaki, Richard Meier, Peter M. Bode, George Nelson, O. M. Ungers, Murray Grigor, Richard Buckminster Fuller, Nader Ardalan, Karl Schlamminger, with Foreword by Lisa Taylor, and Introduction by George Nelson. Features extensive essays written by each artist on the theory of design, as well as photographs of the artists' work, mylar sheets of red text interleaved in each section, and other related texts.
