Small flyer published in conjunction with a 12 hour civil rights rally organized by the New York State Association of Elks to benefit The March on Washington Committees, held at Manhattan's Polo Grounds, on Sunday, August 25th, [1963]. The event asked for a $2 donation and guest speakers included A. Philip Randolph, Adam Clayton Powell, James Farmer, J. Raymond Jones, Rabbi P. Teitz, and Hubert Delaney. The March on Washington Committees included Martin Luther King, Jr., James Farmer, John Lewis, Roy Wilkins, A. Philip Randolph, and Whitney Young. The March on Washington took place days later, on August 28th.
