Die I.N.P. - Bilder

Martin Kippenberger, Wilfried W. Dickhoff

Die I.N.P. - Bilder

Artist's book / exhibition catalogue with 1 tipped-in black-and-white portrait of Kippenberger, 14 additional black-and-white images, plus two foldouts with 29 color reproductions of the paintings in the exhibition. Text by Dickhoff, and a collection of sayings by Kippenberger. "This catalog is meant as an ironic persiflage on the catalog of Walter Dahn and Jiri Dokoupil , titled " Die Afrika Bilder " (publ. on occassion of their exhib. at the Groninger Museum in 1984). Kippenberger faked and imitated the lay-out and looks of their publication, with a lot of witty allusions. I.N.P. stands for " Ist Nicht Peinlich / It's Not Embarrassing." Text in German.
