Rap Brown to join Marlon Brando, Leroi Jones, Bobby Seale, and Mrs. Eldridge Cleaver as speakers at "Black Theatre for Black Panthers Benefit" held on May 20, [1971] at Fillmore East, New York City. "The program on the 20th, which will include five short dramatic presentations by five black theatre groups, and a film, will be filmed and taped by the National Broadcasting Company, the British Broadcasting Corporation, the National Educational Television Network, and the Newsreel." The press release additionally provides black information on the history of the Black Panthers and their members.
