Boxed set of Christian Boltanski material published in conjunction with show held at The Whitechapel Art Gallery, London, April 6 - June 3, 1990. Traveled to Stedelijk van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven, August 25 - October 7, 1990; and Musée de Grenoble, December 15, 1990 - February 18, 1991. Artist designed box contains 18 items. Includes: two exhibition catalogues, "Reconstitution," an exhibition catalogue featuring an essay by Lynn Gumpert, a foreword by the director of Whitechapel Art Gallery Catherine Lampert, and black-and-white and color illustrations; and "Christian Boltanski 1944-90," a catalogue including a biography, bibliography and chronology; "Christian Boltanski: An Interview with Georgia Marsh," a staple bound publication with black-and-white photographic illustrations; 5 facsimiles of original artists' books featuring black and white photographs: "Recherche et présentation de tout ce qui reste de mon enfance," (1969, staple bound); "10 Portraits Photographiques de Christian Boltanski 1946 - 1964," (1972, staple bound); "Reconstitution de Gestes Effectues par Christian Bolstanski: Entre 1948 et 1954," (1970, staple bound); "Inventaire des Objets Ayant Appartenu a Une Femme de Bois-Colombes, (1974, perfect bound);" and "Saynetes Comiques," (1975, perfect bound); 2 sheets facsimile correspondence, "Lettre de demande d'aide," and "Lettre aux conservateurs de Musée proposant le projet de Inventaires;" 3 color Boltanski postcards featuring reproductions of "Affiche" (1974), "Image Modele (La régate)" (1975), and "Composition décorative" (1976); a single sided exhibition announcement card published in conjunction with show "Dispersion a L'amiable" held at Musée Social; 2 facsimile photos: "Christian Boltanski a 5 ans 3 mois de distance," and "Christian Boltanski et ses frères;" a single sided black-and-white flyer offering Boltanski's services "Christian Boltanski a l'honneur de vous faire ses offres de Service;" and one color poster "L'Ange d'alliance" (1986).
