An amazing artist's book by the collective Gelatin that documents in drawings, texts, and lush photography, the supposed efforts by the group to build a balcony on the 91st floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center in New York. Rich in details the book illustrates what may be the successful efforts of the team to remove a window, construct a gangplank, then a small balcony. Did the performance actually happen? It's hard to tell. Forget the events of 9/11 and consider this book for its wonderful effort to subvert architecture. Also, check out the author's website for further details about the project.
