Three elements published in conjunction with the exhibition by Yoko Ono with John Lennon titled "This Is Not Not Here" held at The Everson Museum of Art, Syracuse, New York, which opened on October 8 and 9 and continued through October 27, 1971. Groping includes: 1. "Water Talk" instruction work / invitation "yoko ono with john lennon as guest artist will have a show titled this is not here to commence at everson museum, syracuse, new york on oct. 9, '71 / yoko ono wishes to invite you to participate in a water event (one of the events taking place in the show) ..." 2. Form letter hand inscribed with recipient's name and singed by Yoko Ono Lennon in black ink, inviting recipient to the exhibition. 3. R. S. P. folding invitation, a 10 x 9.8 cm. sheet of unprocessed black-and-white photographic paper with "R. S. P. YOKO ONO" and a Syracuse area telephone number rubber-stamped on verso.

Condition:  Elements in mixed condition. Water Talk Invitation is in Fair condition with flattened four folds as issued with scattered handing marks, fine rust stains on left side of invitation, a few small abrasions to edges and some penciled notes on verso. Signed Letter, in Fair condition, folded in three as issued with an additional fold through horizontal center, small, 3 x 3 mm., loss at top left corner, 2 x 2 mm. pin hole at top left center edge of sheet, closed 1 cm. separation along one fold line and scattered handing marks. R. S. P. Folding Invitation is in Very Good condition with four folds as issued, photographic paper has browned as normal with this object, verso is clean and unmarked.
