Sanctuary For Draft Resister Donald Baty

description

Two single sided flyers encouraging the public to gather at the Washington Square Methodist Church on Thursday, June 13, [1968] in support of Donald Baty, a New York Resistance member who was taking sanctuary in the church. Baty had previously refused indiction on March 4 and intend to not appear for his bench warrant. "We ask that you stop by the church and stay as long as possible to support Don Baty." The second document details the instructions for those visiting Baty at church and how to act if Baty is to be arrested.
