Specific Object and Jonathan Monk are pleased to announce the publication of the twentieth "Picture Post Card Posted from Post Box Pictured,” the latest addition to his ongoing series. For this iteration of his mail art project Monk has chosen an image of the postbox around the corner his mother’s house in the village where the artist grew up, just outside of Leicester, England.
As with prior postcards in the series, each card will be hand addressed by the artist, singed, and mailed from the box pictured on the recto of the postcard.
Cards will be price at $50, post-paid, and subject to the natural process of international mail. Some may arrive in mint condition, while others may not as pictured.
