Press release and double sided flyer for an "Indian Mass" service held on March 25, 1973, at The Cathedral Church of St. John The Divine, New York. Both documents provide an outline of the service and participants. Verso of flyer includes a description of "the meaning of AIM" (The American Indian Movement) which has previously been published in a letter on the Rapid City Journal, Rapid City, South Dakota. Participants included Vine Deloria, Rev. Father Philip Berrigan, Michael Butler, Chief Fool's Crow, Chief Kills Enemy, Buffy Sainte-Marie and others.

Condition:  Very Good. Folded in eight, removed staple marks in both documents upper left corner, light handling marks and edge wear.
