Perhaps one of the most revered artist's publication of the 1960s, the "Xerox Book," published by dealers Siegelaub and Wendler is a xerox book in name only. Conceived by Siegelaub as an inexpensive artist's publication - each artist was afforded twenty-five pages [plus a cover / title page] to execute a site specific project for the publication. ... Light wear along bottom edge of covers including and light yellowing, in part due to a slight misalignment of the cover with the text block that left a 1 mm. overhand of the covers on the bottom edge (as issued). Light yellowing of right side edge of recto and light bumping of bottom right corner. Light yellow spotting along spine edge, covers otherwise clean and unmarked. 4.3 cm. dog-ear to endpaper and 5 mm. of bumping along page edge with receding dog-ears and/or bumping to preceding corners and edge of previous nine pages. Minimal bumping of upper right corner of portion of Carl Andre pages. Contents otherwise clean and unmarked. This copy lacks the very thin unprinted acetate dust jacket that was issued with most copies of the publication. A new mylar cover will be provided. An outstanding well preserved copy.
